The compound of one of the APC Chieftain in Ikorodu Division, Chief Adenrele Olowu, was full to maximum capacity with Party big wigs from The Mandate Movement, TMM, philanthropist, entrepreneurs, professionals in education sector, scholars, technocrats, and people from all works of life, on Saturday, January 18, 2020, where the leader feted hundreds of people from Ikorodu Division.

Among those present were Member, Federal House of Representatives, Hon Babajimi Benson, Majority Leader, LSHA, Hon SOB Agunbiade, Former Acting Commissioner and Special Adviser, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, Hon Nurudeen Sholaja, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Alhaji R. Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
