IKORODU ROCKS AS APC LEADERS CELEBRATE NEW YEAR FESTIVAL WITH PARTY STALWARTS AT DIFFERENT GATHERINGS. Monarch, Legislators, Council Chiefs, others in attendance.

It was an eventful occasion on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, when some of the All Progressives Congress, APC, leaders in Ikorodu Division, at different gatherings celebrated new year festival with party stalwarts and members of their families. 

The turnouts were very impressive at all venues. People of different pedigrees were in attendance inside the compounds of Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Chief Adenrele Olowu, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola and Madam Easter Obayomi, where Fabrics and attires of different colours rented the air and the guests were beaming with smiles.

The gatherings equally attracted the presence of HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Member House of Representatives, Hon Babajimi Benson, Members, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon SOB Agunbiade and Hon Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka, Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Bldr. Olusesan Daini, Vice Chairman Ikorodu LG, Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Vice Chairman Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon Ameen Apanishile, former HOS, Aremo Adesegun Ogunlewe, former Sole Administrator,  Mrs Bolanle Basorun, Wards Councillors, led by the national Chairman, Councillors Forum of Nigeria, Hon Nurudeen Alimi, APC East Senatorial Youth Leader, Alhaji Bashir Adekoya, APC stalwarts, members of their families, religious leaders, friends and well wishers.

A new Chief Imam for the Igbogbo Central Mosque has been installed. He is Fadeelat Imam Abdulganiu Gazali , who was turbaned on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, as Chief Imam of Igbogbo Central Mosque and Grand Chief Imam Igbogbo/ Bayeku LCDA. He succeeds the late Fadilat Sheikh Dhikirulahi Abdulahi Andu (Tanimose) who died on the 2nd of June, 2025. Gazali , before his installation, was the Chief Imam Araromi Mosque , Itun-Abosan. He is from Amoju branch of Lantan Onanusi Family, Igbogbo, and was graduated from different Arabic and Islamic Colleges. Abdulganiu was turbaned on Tuesday by the Ulamas in the Central Mosque, Igbogbo.
