NEW YEAR CELEBRATION: APC LEADER FETES PARTY MEMBERS IN IKORODU, RAISES HOPE OF IKORODU RESIDENTS IN SANWO-OLU'S ADMINISTRATION. Lawmakers, Council Chiefs, Party Chieftains, others in attendance.

In the spirit of festivities, APC East  Senatorial Vice Chairman and one of the Apex leaders in Ikorodu Division, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya has feted APC Chieftains and Party Stalwarts of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, across Ikorodu Division, in celebration of the Party’s successes in the previous year and what could be said to be a toast to greater accomplishments that lie ahead.

The celebration which was held at the Kith and Kin School Hall recorded the attendance of the Chairman, House Committee on Defence and member House of Representatives, Hon Babajimi Adekoge Benson, Majority leader, Lagos State House of Assembly and the Opomulero of Ikorodu Kingdom, Hon SOB Agunbiade, Chairman House Committee on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos Assembly, Hon Nurudeen Saka-Sholaja, Chairmen Igbogbo/Bayeku and Ikorodu North LCDAs, Bldr. Olusesan Daini and Hon Banjo Adeola Adebisi, Vice Chairman, Ikorodu West LCDA, Hon Sesan Dada and member, SUBEB Board, Hon Saheed Ibikunle.

Others are Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe, Chief Adenrele Olowu, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, Chief Ajayi Bembe, Hon Jide Banjoko, Alhaji R.I. Jinodu, Chief Kabat Ajalogun, Pastor Falohun, Pastor Ola Ayetoba, LGAs Party Chairmen, Wards Chairmen, Councillors, Supervisors, party faithful, amongst others. 

According to Asipa Kaoli while speaking with MegaXpression correspondent, he said the celebration is aimed at bringing together party leaders across the  Division to celebrate and get more familiar with one another. Acknowledging the fact that 2019 was indeed a great year for the party most especially in Ikorodu Division having recorded victory for the APC in the presidential, gubernatorial, senatorial, House of Reps, and House of Assembly elections. He however, commended the performances of all, stressing that members' efforts were commendable but, they can do more in the year 2023 elections.

Reacting to the expectations of Ikorodu residents in the Governor Sanwo-Olu's administration in the 2020, the erudite Legislator, Hon Babajimi Benson said the residents of Ikorodu federal Constituency should expect nothing lesser to the great transformation, saying Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu remain steady to improve on infrastructure and complete the rehabilitation of Ishawo, Igbogbo/Igbe and Itamaga/Elepe roads.

Hon S.O.B Agunbiade said in his eloquent remarks that the all-inclusive party system in Ikorodu will foster the relationship among party members and help the party to perform better across all levels. He enjoined party members to be patient and rest assured of dividend of democracy and also not to discriminate among party representatives. Hon Saka-Sholaja, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, in the same vein, also charged the party members to be more committed, remained loyal and be hopeful for good in the administration of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.
