WAVES MEDIA ANNOUNCES BIRTH OF WAVESPLUS TV SHOW, TO BE AIRED WEEKLY ON TUESDAYS, 11:30AM TO 12NOON. It's aimed to bring back the lost family time watching TV programmes that are entertaining, educating and informative, the CEO, Azeez Lamina reveals.

In what can be described as an effort to redefine the television viewing experience for its target audience, Waves Media has announced the newest and the latest inclusion to the Waves Media brand, a television programme named WAVESPLUS. Waves plus is said to be a 30 minutes edutainment magazine show that has different segments that would whet the appetite of viewers and keep them on the edge of their seats.

Speaking at a Press Conference on Monday, the CEO Waves Media, Mr Azeez Abolaji Lamina, said the ‘WavesPlus TV Show’ is a new platform that'll deliver the very best of television experience directly to most youths across the country, saying it shall be aired weekly across the popular TV channels including Lagos Television, LTV, DSTV Channel 256, GOTV Channel 90, Startimes Channel 104, among others, on Tuesdays, 11:30am - 12noon, starting tomorrow 7th of January, 2020.
According to him, "the journey of a thousand miles they say starts with a step. Waves Media started as a magazine publishing company in year 2007 first as a white and black publication but became an all coloured pages magazine from its second edition.

"The hardworking management of the media organization has since then continued to birth new ideas that has positioned the brand as a leading media organization of repute. Having publishing Waves Magazine for over a decade, we founded a radio programme called Waves Gist Zone, A 30 minute talk show that airs every Friday on the first campus radio station in Nigeria, Unilag103.1fm. Waves Gist Zone recently celebrated her two years anniversary on air, October 2019.

"We have carefully designed our various segment to meet the need and expectation of the various demography of the society. Our programme is healthy for every age grade of the society.

"Some of our content includes but not limited to Wavespreneur segment where we seek to celebrate hardworking and daring "Youthful and Useful" Nigerians who are doing very fine in their various chosen field of endeavour. Other content such as movie waves, waves on dastreetz, waves personality profile, Hit Song of the week and waves trivia have been cooked together to keep our viewers entertained, informed and educated.

"Our rider, "Value for your time" captures our commitment to ensure  every second spent watching Waves plus on TV is valued and cherished by our weekly viewers. Waves plus is a creation of Waves Media but supported by Lagos State Internal Revenue Service [LIRS] and MTN Nigeria."

Lamina further stated that as time goes on, he intends to extend Waves plus to other TV stations and cable networks hopefully by the next quarter in order to achieve more eyeball for the supporting brands and other brands willing to advertise using the credibility of the programme.
