OLUOMO SEGUN OLULADE GIVES MOTHER INLAW A BEFITTING BURIAL IN IKORODU, SAYS SHE WAS A SHINING EXAMPLE OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. Monarchs, Legislators, Council Chiefs, others add glamour.

It was all pomp and pageantry at the burial ceremony for Late. Deaconess Christiana Titilola Fowora in the township of Ijede and Ikorodu respectively. Friends and well wishers of Hon Segun Olulade, Member, seventh and eighth Assemblies, Lagos State, came out with friends and relatives in larger numbers to bade his mother inlaw farewell.

It became the gathering of the 'who is who', high profiled persons from all walks of life in Lagos State to graced the occasions. The event commenced with a service of songs and Christian Wake keep at the Deaconess Fowora's residence in Oke-Eletu, Ijede, on Friday, January 10, 2020, which featured a music rendition by the choir of the CAC, Mercy of God District, Ijede. The Children, Ade, Bunmi, Kunle, Tayo and Engr. Mosun Fowora, immediate family members, relatives and high profile guests attended the service of songs and wake keep ceremony in Oke-Eletu, Ijede.

Saturday, January 11, 2020, commenced with the funeral service and family Thanksgiving at the CAC Mercy of God District, Ijede. The service which was also well attended featured tributes on behalf of the deceased and an impressive eulogy by the officiating minister. The procession from the Church to the final resting place at the country home of the Fowora family in Oke-Eletu, Ijede, Lagos was a spectacle to behold. A horse drawn hearse carried the coffin on the final stretch, as plenty of onlooklers gathered to escort the hearse.

A grand reception followed immediately after the internment at the Musical Village in Ikorodu were the four wall of the Hall was full to capacity. Guests enjoyed classic hospitality from Hon Segun Olulade, wife and the family of the deseased as a variety of refreshements including choice drinks, continental and local dishes were served. A live band of Lanre Teriba Atorise was on stage to provide musical entertainment with Ifankaleluya anchoring the event.

Among notable personalities in attendance are, HRM Oba Babatunde Balogun, Elejinrin of Ejinrin, GAC member, Alhaji Shakirudeen Seriki, Bamu Elepo, former Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon Jokotola Pelumi, Majority Leader, Lagos Assembly, Hon SOB Agunbiade, Hon Tobun Abiodun of Epe Constituency 1, APC Chieftain, Alhaji Wasiu Tolani Oduyemi, WASTAB, Chairman Eredo LCDA, Hon Adeniyi Salau, Chairman Imota LCDA, Prince Wasiu Agoro, Chairman Oriade LCDA, Hon Ramotalahi Akinola, members seventh Assembly, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola and Hon Bashir Oloto.
