Ahead of the December 5 Lagos East Senatorial Bye-Election, the East Senatorial Vice Chairman of All Progressives Congress, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, MHR, Chairman and Vice of Ikorodu LG, Mr Wasiu Adeshina and Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, Alhaji Monzor Olowosago, amongst other APC leader, on Friday joined the APC meeting, Etunrenren zone of Ward B, Ikorodu, and solicited support for their candidate, Mr Tokunbo Abiru.
Speaking during the meeting held at Allison Street, Kaoli said the APC candidate in the coming bye-election is a credible and person of unquestionable character, therefore deserves to be elected. He called on the electorate to elect Mr Tokunbo Abiru, come December 5, 2020, nothing that Abiru will deliver on his electoral promises.
In the same vein, the House of Reps member, Hon. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, equally drummed up support for Mr Tokunbo Abiru, urging the people of Etunrenren zone to come out enmas and cast their votes for the APC, saying that he is very optimistic that Abiru will win the poll on December 5.
"I have come here to campaign for my party and brother based on the good work he has been doing and we see that he deserves our votes," Benson said.
Earlier, the Zonal Coordinator, Kafilat Shobowale, appreciated the support giving by the APC leaders and the people of Etunrenren zone, noting that BOG and his party have never win the Allison boot.
Speaking therefore, on behalf of the people of Etunrenren, Allison, Suberu Ogunsanya and Banjoko Olowu streets, Shobowale assured that Tokunbo Abiru has no problem as far as the people of are concerned, declaring that the people of the area would vote massively for him on December 5.
