TRADITIONALISTS PRAY FOR IKORODU MONARCH, COMMUNITY. ...As Oba Shotobi sues for peace, harmony and peaceful co- existence in Ikorodu Division.

The Association of African Traditional Religions of Nigeria (AATREN), Ikorodu chapter, on Monday offered a special prayer to God for His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayangburen of Ikorodu and the entire Ikorodu kingdom. The prayer which held at the Palace of Ayangburen, saw many priests prayed deeply for the Monarch, Sons and Daughters of Ikorodu and the entire people of Ikorodu kingdom.

In his royal prayer, Oba Shotobi entreated God to grant Ikorodu Division, peace, harmony and peaceful coexistence in this remaining year and beyond. He expressed appreciation to the Association of African Religions, for deeming it fit to come and pray for him and the whole community.

Earlier, the General Secretary of AATREN, Ikorodu Chapter, Chief Dada Babatunde, thanked every members of Ikorodu traditional worshippers for uplifting the Association, saying it's not going to be destroyed during their tenure.

Also the Apena of Ikorodu, equally prayed against the deadly Covid-19, praying that the virus will never surface again in Nigeria. He equally urged those who found joy in destroying or causing trouble in Ikorodu to leave or face the rot of the gods.

Two representatives from each Association were equally prayed for the king, wife, Ayangburen-in-Council, Baales and the entire people of Ikorodu Division, for peace, unity and tranquility.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
