Ikorodu North LCDA Chairman, Builder Adeola Adebisi Banjo, on Friday officially launched his re-election bid, urging the good people of the LCDA to allow him complete the good work he has started in the last four years in office.

The event which had the four walls of Oriwu Club Hall Ikorodu full to capacity, had in attendance the presence of Ikorodu North Vice Chairman, Hon. Ameen Apanishile, former Commissioner for Physical Planning, Lagos State, Omo'ba Rotimi Ogunleye, former Council Chairmen, Ikorodu North, Otunba Tijani and Hon. Adeola Jokomba, Chairman Imota LCDA, Omo'ba Wasiu Agoro, Chairman Ijede LCDA, Alhaji Fatiu Jimoh Salisu and member of Ikorodu Club, Otunba Sulaimon.

Others are APC Chieftain, Chief Mrs Oluwatoyin Salawu, CDC Chairman, Ikorodu North, Comr. Ogunbanwo, serving Councillors and Supervisors, APC Stewards, ethics and religious leaders, amongst other notable personalities. 

In his eloquent address, the Chairman, Adeola Banjo, appreciated the residents of Ikorodu North LCDA, for the opportunity bestowed upon him to serve as Chairman since July 25, 2017. He equally appreciated the party leaders in Ikorodu North and Division, Council of Baales, Market leaders, spiritual fathers, artisans, the legislative and Executive Arms for their unflinching supports.

"My first four years in office has been challenging, but I thank God, my Cabinet members, the legislative Arm and all Staff, for the successes we have achieved during this first tenure. I also appreciate the supports offered by my leaders in the LCDA and Division. I have tried my possible best in bringing dividend of democracy to our people, while my achievements scorecard will be published in our bulletin," Banjo said.

"After completing the first term, and still have more developmental projects in offing, I want to use this opportunity to request to complete the good work we have started, by allowing me to contest for the position of the Chairman, Ikorodu North LCDA for another term," he pleaded.

Chairman Banjo, further assured not to disappoint the LCDA if re-elected, promising to see more of the dividend of democracy.
