Owner of a foremost Community Newspaper, established Almost 40years ago, ORIWU SUN, and the B'aaroyin of Ikorodu Kingdom, Chief (Dr.) Monzor Olowosago, has celebrated 70th Birthday in style, class and glamour in Ikorodu, Lagos.

It was a day full of merriments at the multi million naira Oriwu Club Hall, which was filled to the brim with Royal Heads, Senators, National and State Assemblies, Journalists, Political Bigwigs, Business moguls, top government functionaries, religious leaders, amidst other notable personalities in attendance.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
