"Part of my reasons of wanting to serve, is my believe that in Ikorodu, we are blessed with human capacity and I think it is a great assest for us in Ikorodu. We have to change the narrative from negativity to positivity, that to me is something that need to be redirected and create a more enabled ground for our youths to truly florish, because every child deserves the very best, unlinching the great potentials of our youths in Ikorodu," Olabanji-Oba concluded,

Speaking further, he added, "by doing so, we must work beyond our personal sentiments and agenda and any other premedial sentiment is for us to come together and share our personal interest and see how we can work together to deliver Ikorodu for greatness. I want to assure the good people of Ikorodu that this partnership you're seeing today is about the colective interest and project of Ikorodu which is tagged 'Ikorodu Project'. It is centres around people's interest, address people's issues and we are going to commit ourselves to deliver a brighter and purposeful community.

"We are doing this with sense of sincerity and purpose for us to work together and work for Ikorodu to become a better place. I am concerned with the future of Ikorodu, in the last ten years, there is no any sustainable job in Ikorodu Local Government, I mean a job that you and I will be proud to say I am a youth and I am gainfully employed.

"With Princess Folashade Olabanji's experience as the Vice Chairman of the Ikorodu LG and my experience as the former Council leader, so, by putting together, the executive and legislative arm and bring policies that will better the lives of our people.

For me I believe so much that the leaders are not just leaders of tomorrow, but I believe the youths are leaders of today and tomorrow because when you take care for today definitely tomorrow takes care of himself," Olosugbo added.
