MATHEW ADESANYA VISITS ISIWU MONARCH, SEEKS TRADITIONAL RULER'S BLESSING AHEAD OF LG CHAIRMANSHIP ELECTION IN IKORODU NORTH LCDA. ...Says he'll run an inclusive government if voted into power.

An APC Aspirant in the coming chairmanship election in Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Mathew Aliu Adesanya, on Wednesday solicited the blessings of HRM Oba Olukayode David Raji, Eweye of Isiwu Kingdom, and the Council of Baales in Ikorodu North LCDA, ahead of the Local Government Elections.

Mathew, who visited the Monarch at his Palace in Isiwu, was accompanied by hundreds of supporters, singing and dancing, with the massage that Mathew Adesanya is the right choice for the chairmanship position in Ikorodu North. He pleaded for prayer and support of the Monarch, Baales and other community leaders, ahead of the chairmanship election, noting that their prayers will ensure his victory in July 2021.

“My visit to Eweye Palace is to seek blessing before embarking on my campaign, and to establish my reasons of contesting for the chairmanship position in Ikorodu North LCDA. I want to assure you that Isiwu and the rest of communities in Ikorodu North LCDA will feel an unprecedented developmental projects, than being in stagnancy of this current administration," Matthew said.

He disclosed that he has sponsored and facilitated many significant infrastructural developments to the LCDA despite not in power, noting that roads, education, empowerment and creation of job opportunities for the Youths will be his top priorities.

Mathew, who said this forthcoming chairmanship election is all about progress of the LCDA, appealled to the traditional leaders and residents of the area to support him in making the dream come to reality.

"As the Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, I will set up a committe that will be in charge of Education, empower the women, youths will be fixed into my cabinet, will increase the walfare packages of traditional, CAN and Muslim leaders. I will take full responsibility of the Palace of Eweye of Isiwu Kingdom," Matthew assured.

Regarding to the rumour of relocating the Council Secretariat to Odogunyan, Matthew affirmed that the matter had been politically resolved, noting that the Council Secretariat located in Isiwu Community have come to stay. "I will work in unity with the Kabiyesi and all Baales in the LCDA, I will be obedient and yeild to whatever advise you give," Matthew added.

Also, Otunba Dare Odufowokan, Hon. Aro Balogun and Madam Sidikat Aroyewun, equally assured the traditional Institutions that Hon. Matthew Aliu Adesanya will serve the LCDA better. They emphasized on Matthew's past laudable achievements on Education, Health and community development.

In his royal remarks, HRM Oba Olukayode David Raji, welcomed Hon. Mathew Adesanya and his entourage to his Palace, urging him to keep to his campaign promises after elected as Chairman. The Monarch assured of his support and showered rain of blessings on him, noting that this is the right time for an indigene of Isiwu to emerge as the Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA.
