Wednesday, the 26th of May 2021 was an epoch making day in the calendar of Ikorodu North LCDA as it witnessed the commissioning of three remarkable projects by the Executive Chairman of Ikorodu North LCDA, Bldr. Adéọlá Adébisi Banjọ.

The council which plays host to the largest industrial estate in West Africa saw its Executive Chairman transverse different parts of Ikorodu North LCDA for commissioning of one project after another.

The three projects which were facilitated by Bldr. Adeola Adebisi Banjo and his administration through the dynamic representative of Ikorodu Federal constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Babajimi Benson MHR are sited at Omolaiye Community Nursery & Primary School, St. Saviour's Anglican Pry School Igbaga, Odogunyan Senior Grammar School, Odogunyan.

The day started with the commissioning of new block of storey-building with 12 classrooms and furniture (classroom chairs & tables) for each classroom at OMOLAIYE COMMUNITY NURSERY & PRIMARY SCHOOL, AGBEDE.

Afterwards, the entourage proceeded to Odogunyan Senior Grammar School where another block of two-storey building of classrooms with set of furniture for each class was commisioned.

Lastly, the untiring Executive Chairman with his entourage moved to St. Saviour's Anglican Pry School, Igbaga where another two blocks of classrooms furnished with tables and chairs with 2 blocks of toilets were commissioned. 

The Chairman in his address at the various point of commissioning never failed to shower encomium on Hon. Babajimi Benson - who was ably represented by members of iCare Foundation - for facilitating the project in support of the hardworking Chairman's effort to ensure the children of his LCDA enjoys sound Education right from its very foundation.

He spoke further that, "my visionary brother and leader, Hon. Babajimi is aware of how I am passionate about educational advancement of my LCDA, hence, his throwing his weight behind the educational development effort of our administration by facilitating the execution of the 3 projects."

Upon commissioning the three school projects, the Chairman in the company of his enigmatic Vice - Hon. Ola Ameen Apanisile, Ikorodu North LCDA Council Leader - Hon. Ayo Adekoya, Ikorodu North LCDA Majority Leader - Hon. Aderoju Balqeez, the SLG Ikorodu North LCDA/DG Banjọ Adébisi Adéọlá Team (BAAT) - Mr. Niyi Odugbesi, the CoS Ikorodu North LCDA & Gen Secretary, BAAT - Mr. Abiodun Banjo, the Director of Publicity, BAAT - Mr. Tunde Adekoya, the delectable wife of the Chairman- , Mrs. Folashade Banjo, Supervisory Councillor for Women Affairs, Ikorodu North LCDA & Director of organization, BAAT - Hon. Princess Abimbola Adaramola-Jegede, the SA to the Chairman on Education- Lydia Oremosu Agoro and notable party members like Alhaji Azeez Aregbesola (Chairman APC Ward E2), scores of supporters embarked on extensive sensitization tour of the five wards under Ikorodu North LCDA.

The warm reception his entourage enjoyed at the different wards toured evidently shows that Hon. Adéọlá Adébisi Banjọ is the man of the moment. The Chairman seized the opportunity of this warm reception accorded him at the various wards to highlight some of the remarkable achievement of his administration for each of the wards. He stressed that his team is not oblivious of the fact that there's need to do more, hence their desire to get the opportunity to complete and consolidate on what they have started.

The Chairman also seized the moment to remind all members of the party at each of the wards that the Saturday party primary election would serve as an opportunity for all party members to truly express their love and unalloyed support for him and his team. He enjoined everyone to go out, reach out to their friends, family members and associates who are card-carrying members of the party to go out and vote for him and his team to return and serve for the second term.

He implored all members to ignore the fake rumours being spread by unscrupulous elements and party usurpers about some list being drafted. He stated emphatically that the party All Progressives Congress remains committed to fairness, transparency and lawfulness.

He seized the opportunity to express his appreciation to the various leaders of each of the wards who received him namely Alhaja Aluko, Mr. Adéyemí, Mr. Adewo, Chief Olowu, Alhaji Odidi, Pastor Sulaimon, Mr. Elijah, Akanmu Jacob, Mrs. Jumoke, Mrs. Folakemi JP, Alhaja Towolawi, Mr. Adigun Adeleke, Mr. Babayemisi and a host of others, and assured them all of his staying true to the vision of the party at all times.
