I.D.E.A INAUGURATES BALOGUN, JUNAID, ADESHINA, OTHERS, AS Y2021-2022 IGBOGBO DAY PLANNING COMMITTEE. ...As Oba Kasali charges members to surpass past records, romance with elders for information.

HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom in the middle, with Members of IDEA and newly inaugurated Igbogbo Day Planning Committee for the Y2021/2022 celebrations.

Igbogbo Development Association, I.D.E.A, has on Saturday at the Adeboruwa Palace Igbogbo, inaugurated Igbogbo Day Planning Committee members, to stage befitting and laudable celebrations for the Y2021/2022.

The President of I.D.E.A, Dr. Omotunde Ogunlaja, who was ably represented by his Vice, Hon. (Mrs) Adebimpe Akinsola, appreciated Mr. Gbenga Faniyi led Committee for their performance and charged the newly inaugurated Igbogbo Day Planning Committee Members to work hand-in-hand towards the greatness of Igbogbo Kingdom.

"While discharging your responsibilities as the Committee Members, don't think of what Igbogbo will do for you, but think of what you can do for Igbogbo Kingdom. Expect alot of criticism from people, but make sure you discharge your primary assignment to the best of your ability," Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola advised.

Earlier, the Secretary, Igbogbo Development Association (I.D.E.A), Engr. Lateef Oduntan, in his welcome address congratulated the outgoing Igbogbo Day Planning Committee Members, wished the new Committee successful staging of Y2021/2022 celebrations, MegaXpression reports.

"The growth and development of Igbogbo Kingdom is our priority, that is why we arrived at this conclusion after a thorough screening to select some calibers of people who are ready to serve Igbogbo Kingdom with the fear of God and zeal," Oduntan explained.

In his eloquent remarks, the newly inaugurated Chairman, Mr Nasiru Titilope Balogun, thanked HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, Chiefs and Members of Igbogbo Development Association, I.D.E.A, for the privilege bestowed upon him and his colleagues to serve Igbogbo Kingdom.

"I am very sure that with the help of God, support of the Adeboruwa-in- Council and everyone who is willing to support us, we are going to do exceedingly well and we are promising that we will take this responsibility as our primary assignment," Balogun said.

While addressing the gathering, the Odofin of Igbogbo Kingdom, High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, congratulated the newly inaugurated Committee, urging them to get closer with the elderly ones in the community, on how to move Igbogbo to a greater height.

Further speaking, Odofin reiterated that the Adeboruwa-in-Council can not do it alone, he therefore enjoined all Sons and Daughters of Igbogbo Kingdom to help Igbogbo get to its usual position. "To the Igbogbo Development Association, I.D.E.A, I want you to buckle up and put more effort towards the actualisation of our dreams," Chief Onasanya advised.

In his royal response, HRM Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Emugoriade 1, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, appreciated the outgoing Committee Members and prayed for the newly inaugurated Committee to succeed.

"Igbogbo Kingdom is moving forward which I believe nothing is going to take us all backward. I therefore urge you all to work together in love, unity and harmony to contribute positively to the development and progress of our great Kingdom," Oba Kasali advised.
