The House of Reps. Member, representing Ikorodu federal constituency, Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, has flagged off the construction of Adamo/ Araromi road in Ikorodu North LCDA of Lagos State.

Benson, who is also the Chairman, House Committee on Defence, said the construction of the road, linking Adamo to over 40 communities, is expected to be completed in three months.

Addressing the gathering at the flag-off, Benson, who was ably represented by the DG iCARE Foundation, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwo-Ola, noted that the road which is of enormous economic importance, will on completion revive the economic viability of the rural dwellers 

He urged the youth to cooperative with the contractors, in ensuring a smooth execution of the project. The Lawmaker also promised additional classrooms for Gbaga Junior School, to enhance education excellence.

In his appreciative remarks, the Chairman Ikorodu North LCDA, Builder Adeola Adebisi Banjo, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Rep. Babajimi Benson for his unwavering commitment to infrastructural development in Ikorodu North LCDA, applauding the Lawmaker's numerous Infrastructural Projects across Ikorodu federal Constituency.

The Chairman highlighted the deplorable state of the road, which was tarred 30 years ago, and praised Benson for his plan to rebranding the community. "The road, which links Emuren and other neighboring communities, is a vital connection for residents," Banjo opined.

Also, Prince Niran Ogunbanwo, the Ikorodu North CDC Chairman, equally commended Benson for the gesture, while urging the property owners and residents to support the contractors, towards smooth construction.

"On behalf of the CDAs in Ikorodu North LCDA, I thank Rep. Benson for his tireless efforts. And also I appreciate our Councillors for their hardwork and dedication to the progress of our community," Ogunbanwo praised.

In his royal remarks, His Royal Majesty, Oba Olukayode David Raji, the Eweye of Isiu Kingdom, expressed heartfelt appreciation to Rep. Babajimi Benson, noting that his legacies will forever be remembered. The Monarch further appealed to residents to coorporate with the contractors in ensuring a smooth and hitch-free job delivery.
