The committee is composed of three Christian leaders, three Muslim leaders, and one representative each from the Adeboruwa Palace, Olubeshe Palace, and Elepe Palace.

The establishment of NIREC in Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA will serve as a proactive measure to promote peaceful coexistence, enhance mutual understanding, and encourage interfaith dialogue among the diverse religious and cultural groups within the community.

The purpose of NIREC in the LCDA is to provide a platform for fostering harmony and collaboration among religious leaders and stakeholders to address issues affecting the community. Through regular engagement and dialogue, NIREC aims to prevent religious tensions, promote tolerance, and build a cohesive society where differences are respected and celebrated.
