Rep. Babajimi Adegoke Benson, a Lawmaker representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, at the National Assembly, has distributed food packs to another 1,000 households in commemoration of the 9th anniversary of the iCare Food Bank.

Speaking during the distribution exercise at his constituency office recently in Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos, the Chairman House Committee on Defence, explained that the monthly gesture was aimed at supporting the less privileged, embodying the values of love, compassion, and generosity that define the World Food Day celebration.

"Over the past nine years, we’ve supported thousands of households through this monthly act of compassion and service. I’m grateful to everyone who has made this journey possible.

"It is my hope and prayer that today’s beneficiaries will, in turn, become blessings to others because true wealth is measured by how many lives we touch.

"As a lawmaker, I remain committed to advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, particularly the vision of a Nigeria where food is abundant and no one goes," the erudite Lawmaker, Rep. Babajimi Benson explained.
