BUILDER OLUSESAN DAINI INDUCTED AS C.A.N PATRON IGBOGBO/ BAYEKU LCDA. ...Expresses profound humility, gratitude for honour.


The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, on Thursday, October 16, 2025, officially inducted the Otun Asiwaju of Methodist Church Igbogbo, Otunba 'Tadese' of Igbogbo Kingdom and the immediate past Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Builder Olusesan Mayokun Daini, as the C.A.N PATRON, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, in recognition of his dedication to the Christian faith, Community-building, and exemplary leadership during his tenure as the Council Chairman.

The historic investiture which was held at the Conference Room of Eleja Methodist Church Igbogbo, was chaired by the CAN Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Rev. Dr. Ojo Joshua. Other influential spiritual figures in attendance were the CAC Chairman Ikorodu Central, Catholic Catechist Joseph Ojuolape, CAN Chairman Ikorodu West LCDA, Rev. Ojo Taiwo, CAN Vice Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, M/S/P Babatunde Fashola, CAN Secretary Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Rev. Inege Friday, Assistant Secretary, Igbogbo/Bayeku, Rev. Friday Edward, the Treasurer, Pastor Timothy Ekundayo, CAN Elder, Bishop Amos Ajayi, among numerous others.

The spiritually charged event also featured soul-lifting words of God, by a revered spiritual father, intercessory prayers, and official induction of Builder Olusesan Daini as CAN PATRON. 

In his acceptance speech, Builder Olusesan Daini expressed profound humility and gratitude for the honour, dedicating it to God and the entire body of Christ. He emphasized that the conferment was a divine mandate to do more.

"This is a divine call, not just to me but to every Christian in leadership,” he said. “I charge every believer to uphold the values of our faith, integrity, love, excellence, and service. In these trying times, the world needs more light-bearers. Let us not shrink our influence, but shine boldly for Christ."

He further urged fellow Christian brethren to remain unshaken in their commitment to godly principles and to be intentional in advancing the cause of the Kingdom in every sector of society.
