AROYEWUN RECEIVES LOYALISTS, MRS BASIRAT BAKARE, OTHERS ON A COURTESY VISIT. ...Expresses desire to the upliftment of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA


The Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun HOA, has received on a courtesy visit, Mrs Basirat Olufunke Bakare, popularly called 'Iya Chairman', on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Council Secretariat.

The visit, which was the first after Mrs Bakare's returned from London recently, was accompanied by one of the Chairmanship Aspirants in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Mr Shakiru Moritan Seidu, SMS, a retired Teacher and Community Developer, Mrs Bisi Bello, among others.

While responding to the Newsmen, Mrs Bakare, said the visit has provided an opportunity for her to congratulate and express her sincere word for the exemplary leadership and commitment of Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, to the growth and development of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, since he assumed office as the Executive Chairman on July 28, 2025.

Also, Mr Shakiru Moritan Seidu, popularly known as SMS, equally commended Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun for his outstanding performance so far, noting that he has started his tenure on a sound note. He praised Aroyewun's efforts in promoting the party's ideals and fostering a sense of unity among the people of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

In his eloquent remarks, the Chairman, Omo'ba Hammed Aroyewun, expressed gratitude to Mrs Bakare, SMS and the rest, for seeing them worthy for the visit. He expressed his desire to the upliftment of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA. The courtesy visit has no doubt underscores the strong love and affection for the Chairman and the LCDA.

Other notable government officials in attendance were the Vice Chairman, Barrister Ade Ayeni, the Chief of Staff, Hon. Wasiu Olowu, Revenue Chairman, Mr Tunde Okusanya, the CSO, Commander Dare Igbasan Agali, former Councillor, Hon. Monsuru Kolejo, Comrade Kazeem Ogunmuyiwa, Mr Alaba Olomu, Mr Taofeek Ipaye, among others.
