AROYEWUN'S LED ADMINISTRATION SETS FOR YOUTH CONFERENCE, AS IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA PALLIES IGBOGBO YOUTH FORUM. ...Says initiative is aimed at equipping young ones with skills, mindset, and connections to transform challenges into opportunities.


Over 200 youth are set to attend a youth conference being sponsored by the Administration of Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun HOA, the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, in conjunction with Igbogbo Youth Forum.

In a statement made available to MegaXpression Media by Mr Taofeek Olawale Ipaye, Chairman Summit Planning Committee, stated that youth of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA held the key to unlocking the LCDA’s potential.

“We need more of our youths to be involved in nation-building and to become good ambassadors of this country. Nigeria is a nation with vast resources, and the youth are key to ensuring that these resources are utilised to the fullest,” Ipaye was quoted to have said.

The summit which was scheduled to hold on Sunday, 26th October, 2025, at the Megalite Hall, Homat Events Center, Igbogbo, Lagos, is aimed at addressing critical youth issues by bringing together over two hundred aspiring young entrepreneurs, innovators, and future leaders from across the nooks and crannies of Igbogbo. 

"This initiative is about equipping youth of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA with the skills, mindset, and connections they need to transform challenges into opportunities. It is about building leaders who can think globally and act locally,” the President, Igbogbo Youth Forum, Dr. Adeleke Dankuwo revealed.

The summit will feature a robust agenda which include:
1. Keynote speech by our renowned youth expert who have an in-depth understanding of the youth demography.
 
2. Interactive workshops on business plan development, digital marketing, government policy, and financial management 

3. Panel discussions on emerging economic trends and opportunities in Nigeria with major focus on entrepreneurship, finance, and technology.

4. A pitch session to identify and support promising youth-led business ventures.

5. Networking opportunities with potential investors and employers.

The Keynote speaker is Dr Tunde Ajayi (General Manager Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency LASEPA) and the Guest Speaker is Mayor Deen Sawoola (Executive Assistant on Lagos State Parking Authority).
