In a transformative step toward improving educational infrastructure, Hon. (Dr.) Abiodun Moshood Aro, popularly known as AMA, has facilitated the Construction of a 18-Classroom facility at Luwasa Senior Secondary School, Ijede.
The project, comprising of a storey building of 18 classrooms fully equipped with modern furniture, to commemorate the 45 years anniversary of his alma mater. This significant stride underscores Hon. AMA’s unwavering commitment to enhancing educational standards across Ikorodu Constituency II.
With this upgrade, students and teachers alike are expected to benefit from an improved learning environment, fostering academic excellence and personal growth. The initiative has been widely praised by the Party leaders, community members and education Stakeholders as a significant step in empowering the younger generation.
This development aligns with Hon. AMA’s broader vision of prioritizing education as a key driver for the socio-economic progress of Ikorodu Constituency II and beyond.
The new school complex is designed to provide a conducive learning environment and will comprise the following facilities: 18 Standard Classrooms, Science Laboratory, Home Economics Laboratory, Sick Bay, Consultancy Office, Staff Rooms, Offices for the Principal and Vice Principals, Modern Toilet Facilities for Male and Female Students, Extended Water Tank, Water Treatment Plant, Land Swapping and Interlocking, Soak-Away and Safety Tanks. The contract was awarded to Polytimos Hold International Ltd, with a stipulated completion period of six months.
The laying of foundation blocks also witnessed the presence of the Chairman and Vice, Ijede LCDA, Hon. Motuntayo Gbadebo-Alogba and Hon. Kareem. Others were party leaders, Councillors, Community leaders, School Principal, Teachers, and old Students of Luwasa School.
