As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen security and safeguard lives and property across Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (IBLCDA), the Executive Chairman, Omo'ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, will on Thursday, June 11, convene a Security Summit at the Aafin Adeboruwa of Igbogbo.
The summit is expected to bring together a wide range of stakeholders, including business owners, community leaders, traditional rulers, youth representatives, religious leaders, and members of the security agencies, for meaningful discussions on strategies to enhance peace and security within the council area.
According to Aroyewun, through a release made available to MegaXpression Media, the security and well-being of residents remain a top priority of his administration. He noted that a secure environment is essential for sustainable development, economic growth, and social stability, stressing the need for collective action in addressing security challenges.
The Chairman stated that the summit will provide an avenue for stakeholders to share insights, identify emerging threats, and develop practical solutions aimed at improving community safety and strengthening collaboration between residents and security agencies.
