The king symphatized with the affected people and assured them of adequate compensation by the government. "I shared in your pain and sacrifice, my family house and Palace were equally earmarked for demolition to pave way for the road construction", the king remarked.

The people were no doubt glad due to the pain the King took to visit them and pacify them, this was revealed when speaking with Shakiru Seidu of MegaXpression Magazine.

The first, second and third Churches in Igbogbo, Methodist Church of Nigeria, opposite Adeboruwa Palace, UAMC Eleja Church and CAC at Bola Ahmed Tinubu way, received the King and his entourage. The king appealed passionately for cooperation and appreciated the Churches that God has indeed answered their prayers even though it will cost lots of sacrifices. The members of the congregations therefore expressed their happiness towards the king's gesture to consider them  and promised to support the government at all times.

In the same vein, High Chief Tajudeen Onasanya, the Odofin of Igbogbo appealed to the Churches with all sincerity that government will adequately do the needful. He affirmed that their long time prayers for rapid development of Igbogbo community is being answered.

He further explained that almost two decades, Igbogbo had been without Bank. We can all see the development taking place now. Squadron 63 Command, zoned to Ikorodu division was brought to Igbogbo out of all the 3 allocated to Lagos State, Chief Odofin explained.

The road project will be of immense benefit  to everyone such that those who have deserted Igbogbo due to the deplorable state of our road, insecurity and other reasons known to them may likely miss their way when they return, HRM Oba Kasali further stated this when addressing the people.
