CHRISTMAS CAROL 2017: AMBODE CELEBRATES WITH OBASANJO, SUES FOR LOVE AND UNITY IN NIGERIA. | Shakiru Seidu

The Chapel of Christ the Glorious King, at the Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun State, was on Saturday, 23rd of December agog with men and women of timber and calibre, where the former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, held the 2017 Christmas Carol of 6 Lessons Hostes.

The Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode, who was ably represented by his Special Adviser on Housing, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola and other prominent personalities were in attendance.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
