Words cannot be enough to describe how historic a woman of God and astute Politician was buried. It was a memorable day at her residence at 2, Alhaja Rafatu Matti Street, Ijede, where the funeral and reception were held for the committed seasoned woman of God and APC Woman Leader of Ijede LCDA, Mrs Abike Oluwakemi Ambode, on Friday, 15th of December, 2017.

Mrs Abike Oluwakemi Ambode, who surrendered to death on Thursday 7th of December, 2017, was born to the family of Mr/Mrs Ebenezer Lele from Lele's Compound, Ipakan, Ijede, in 1963.

She got married to Mr Akinsoji Ambode in the year 1981. She went into fresh fish trading and then joined the Politics in the year 1987 and had represented her Party in different categories. This and more were no doubt fetched her the position of Woman Leader, Ijede LCDA. She is survived by husband, children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, family and friends. 

Her first Child, Mr Akindele Ambode could not hide his feelings as regard the presence of the prominent personalities from different works of life who graced the occasion. In the same vein he appreciated the family members in all branches, friends, associates, colleagues, brethren and the Church of God for the love and support shown to them. 

The burial ceremony which was bombarded with men and women of timber and calibre from Ikorodu Division saw the likes of the Member of House of Representatives, Hon Babajimi Benson, Special Adviser to Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode on Housing, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, Member, Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon Nurudeen Sholaja, Lagos East Senatorial Woman Leader, Chief Yeye Fausat Gbadebo, Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Comrade Fatiu Salisu, PRO Laspotech, Prince Lanre Kuye, Rev. Femi Alabi, Rev S.O. Alagbe, Prophet Odeteyi Babatunde, Mr Adewale Thomas, Rev Kolawole Peter and Pastor Isaac Oluwabusola. 

Others were the Vice Chairman, Ijede LCDA, Hon Motunrayo Gbadebo,  Councillors and Supervisors of Ijede LCDA, LGA Exco led by Evangelist Folorunsho Falohun, Wards Excos, Party faithfuls from Ijede, Igbogbo and Imota LCDAs were all in attendance.

When speaking with the Publisher, MegaXpression Magazine, Mr Shakiru Seidu, the Husband, Mr Akinsoji Ambode unveiled his sincere gratitude to Almighty God and other well wishers who made it from far and near to give last respect to his amiable wife.
