APC SWEARS-IN LGA, WARDS EXCO IN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu. "It's a call to Serve," Party leaders challenge the new Officials.

It was a day of joy to members of All Progressives Congress in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, on Friday, 1st of June, 2018, when the Council legal officer sworn-in the newly elected officials of the Party at the LGA level, in the presence of the Party Chairman, Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi.

"The Congresses have come and gone, it is time to practice what we have been preaching. Your respective positions is a call to serve and not to rule." These were the words of advise offered by some of the Party leaders while speaking with MegaXpression Magazine.

Alhaji Sefiu Ogunyemi, APC Chairman, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA, in his own remarks enjoined the Executives to bring on board genuine ideas and work together for the unity and progress of the Party in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA. 

The Council Chairman, Comr. Olusesan Daini, who was unavoidably absent but ably represented by his Vice, Mr Titilola Adegboyega, in his address tasked the newly sworn-in Executives to be guided by the Party's constitution always and ensure they win subsequent elections. Daini further appealed to them to work as a team and emphasized the need to mobilize for new members. 

Meanwhile, some of the Apex leaders of the Party in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, APC Vice Chairman of East Senatorial, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, former Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, and Hon. Babajimi Benson, MHR, representing Ikorodu Federal Constituency, while speaking with MegaXpression Magazine through phone conversations, congratulated the newly Sworn-in Executives of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.

They admonished them to know that it was God who gave them the positions and they should not be greedy and selfish. They also tasked them to reconcile all aggrieved persons because everybody is important in the Party. They further urged them to mobilize all to get their PVCs; for this is the only way to defeat opponents.

The Exco of Ward C1 to C5 were later  sworn-in by at their various Wards by their Chairmen.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family. During the meeting held at Osugbo Abalaye Shrine , where Lantan family were asked to pay fine of almost One million naira worth of sacrifice because of Mr Shakiru Sanni's misconduct, the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali , emphasized that Shakiru Sanni's removal as Olumale Eluku was to safeguard the sanctity, culture, tradition, religion and prestige of Igbogbo
