FRESH AIR OF GREAT TRANSFORMATION ENSUING IN AMUWO ODOFIN AS LANRE SANUSI WOOS WARD DELEGATES FOR 2019 ELECTION. | Shakiru Seidu ...Assures of quality representation at the federal House of Reps.

As the APC primary election set to hold in August/September this year, aspirants are not leaving any stone unturned as they're all moving around to woo the party members.

Wednesday, 27th of June, 2018, was a memorable day in Amuwo Odofin when Prince Lanre Sanusi, popularly known as P.L.S, visited the Ward A and B of Amuwo Odofin with his campaign team to woo the Party Delegates towards the party primaries. P.L.S., who is contesting for the position of Amuwo Odofin federal Constituency Seat in 2019 sensitized the party Exco to elect a credible leader and work together to unseat the PDP person, who's currently holding the position.

The Amuwo Odofin federal constituency was known to have produced great men and women who are  technocrats, entrepreneurs, dynamic political leaders, business moguls and several other professionals. But the question is, were they really represented very well politically at the Federal House of Reps? These and more were basis of emphasis when Prince Lanre Sanusi addressed the Ward A and B Exco.

In his uncommon legislative agenda, Prince Lanre Sanusi, emphasized more on youth empowerment, affordable health care, quality education, among the rest. "Since the primary responsibility of a legislator is law-making, I shall take my responsibility very seriously by discharging my duties with utmost seriousness and responsibility. We are in very critical times in our democratic experience as a nation. What becomes of Nigeria, good or otherwise will be a function of what the political class does with the current political dispensation. There is Hunger and Anger in the land. There are fears and tears all over the country. There are agitations, apprehensions and frustrations. Lastly there is gross hopelessness.

"The above scenario calls for pragmatic, innovative and people-centered legislation that will help to deepen our democracy; by allaying citizen's fears, calming frayed nerves; and, most importantly, restoring lost hope and confidence in government and the nation as a whole." He explained.

P.L.S further assured that he will never degrade the mandate, assured of rapid improvement in the education standard, youth and women empowerment, taking care of aged ones, infrastructural development and adequate collaboration with NGOs to better life of his constituents.

Director General of PLS Campaign Team also justified the reasons why the party delegates should vote Prince Lanre Sanusi as the right man for the Amuwo Odofin federal Constituency seat.

However, Chairperson of Ward A and the rest of Exco members threw their weight behind the candidature of PLS. The Chairperson further enjoined the Party faithfuls to ensure they work hard to unseat the PDP that's currently holding the position.

Chairman of Ward B in the same vein assured Prince Lanre Sanusi of his victory at the primaries. While Director General of PLS campaign team assured everyone of PLS's competence and for the compassion he always exhibit towards the people around him.
