LANRE SANUSI URGES AMUWO-ODOFIN TO UTILIZE VIRTUES OF RAMADAN IN THE FORTHCOMING GENERAL ELECTIONS. | Shakiru Seidu. ...Applauds Buhari, Tinubu, Ambode, for their uncommon leadership qualities.

Aspirant of the federal House of Representatives, Amuwo-Odofin federal Constituency, Prince Lanre Sanusi (PLS), on friday extended his best felicitations to all Muslims in Amuwo Odofin, Lagos State and Nigeria at large. He revealed this through a Press release sent to MegaXpression Magazine.

PLS, as he's popularly called by his people said, "This season has been an opportunity for focus, reflection, spiritual growth, forgiveness, patience, resilience and compassion for those less fortunate, and unity across communities. Each lesson is profound on its own and taken together forms a harmonious whole. It’s also a time of year that brings some of the best dishes to the table across the world as families and neighbors gather for iftar.

"Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency is blessed with Islam believers who have coexisted peaceful with other persons of different religions, hence, the virtues of this season as true belivers should be translated to how we prepare, engage and manage our preferences towards the electioneering permutations.

"I enjoin all Muslims to be reminded that we are one big family despite our faith and creed.  We should stand firm in rejection of the voices that seek to divide us or limit our religious freedoms or civil rights.

"I stand firm in the promotion and safeguarding of our common heritage as a people and the protection of our indigeneous communities. I am dedicated to our peaceful coexistence as a people of diverse origin and background.

"As we celebrate today, we should remember hundreds of others in Amuwo Odofin Federal Constituency, who cannot observe Ramadan from the comfort of their own homes this year or afford to celebrate Eid-el-Fitri with their families for whatever reason. Lets keep working together to alleviate the suffering of these individuals. This is our common obligation.

"My Team and I, have taken time-out within this holy month to research and identify the ideals that will further enhance human dignity, and this strategic ideals have been incorporated into our manifesto for strategic implementation as the peoples representative come 2019."

PLS further congratulated President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari, GCFR, the National Leader of All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Governor of Lagos State, H.E. Akinwunmi Ambode, Badagry Division Apex leader, Prince Rabiu Oluwa, and the Apex Leadership of both Amuwo Odofin LGA and Oriade LCDA led by the duo of Alhaji Sekoni and Alhaja Ajao for a peaceful Ramadan season.

"I praise Allah and thank Him for giving us the privilege of concluding  Ramadan 1439 peacefully. We ask Him to grant us many more on planet earth and count us among the dwellers of Jannah," he prayed.
