The All Progressive Congress (APC) Lagos State Youth Leader, Tayo Sanyaolu has lauded the progressive move by his Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari in announcing June 12 as Democracy Day and conferment of the highest Honor of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (GCFR) posthumously on an illustrious and industrious late Basorun Moshood Kashimawo Abiola.

While commending the proposed conferment of GCON on the late legal icon, Late Gani Fawehinmi SAN, he remarkably identify with his Excellency, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, for celebrating and erecting Fawehinmi's Statute at Freedom Park, Ojota.

Sanyaolu who revealed this through his Press Release on June 6, said "His excellency, Muhammadu Buhari no doubt has put solace on the faces of the likes of our leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, entire SouthWest States and Progressive Nigerians by declaring June 12 as Democracy Day in Nigeria."

"Now MKO Abiola can rest in perfect peace," he added.
