LAWMAKER DISTRIBUTES EXERCISE BOOKS TO PUPILS OF IKORODU NORTH LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu. "It's aimed at promoting education in my Ward," Hon. Balikeez Aderoju Ibraheem reveals.

Councillor, representing Ward E of Ikorodu North LCDA, Hon. Balikeez Aderoju Ibraheem, on Monday, 4th of June, 2018, distributed hundreds of Exercise Books worth thousands of naira to Saint Savior Anglican Primary School Gbaga Olorunda, Ward E4, Ikorodu North LCDA, as part of her effort to promote education in her Ward.

Speaking to Shakiru Seidu of MegaXpression Magazine, shortly after the distribution of the exercise Books, said the State and Local Governments could not do everything alone, disclosing that she spent huge amount of money to print the exercise Books and she's happy to distribute these books to Saint Savior Anglican Primary School Gbaga Olorunda, "I am happy today because I saw the children very happy while we were distributing the exercise books to them.” She said.

Hon. Balikisu further stated that the gesture was to assist pupils whose parents could not buy books for, calling on other philanthropic individuals and organisations to reach out to the less privileged people in the society.

The Headmistress, Mrs Eneh Mary Rose, in her remarks thanked the Hon. Balikeez Aderoju Ibraheem, for the gesture, adding that it would go a long way in assisting the pupils in their academic pursuits.
