Resident of Ikorodu Division in the Lagos State, at the weekend leaped for joy as their representative in the House of Reps, Hon Babajimi Benson, reached out with food items to the elderly, widows, needy and the vulnerable people in Ikorodu division. This was a repeat of Hon Babajimi Benson's magnanimous attitude to dole out food at his constituency Office, Igbogbo.

In his eloquent remarks, Hon Babajimi Benson welcomed everyone to the gathering, especially the beneficiaries who are more important to him. He said he will continue to make them proud. "iCARE Foodbank was created to alleviate hunger in his Constituency," he said while speaking with MegaXpression Magazine.

He further thanked everyone for placing their trust on him and urged all to vote for APC Candidates in the coming general election.

Among the Dignitaries present, former S.A and Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, described the Babajimi Benson as a humble and cool headed person; she said no one in the House of Representatives has performed as much as he had done.

According to the monarch of Igbogbo, HRM Oba Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, "this and some other pleasant gestures of course, had qualified JB as a symbolic representation of humility and good conscience in Ikorodu Division. By his character, JB is repugnant to illiberal and inequitable principles."

The food was accordingly given to over 500 beneficiaries across the whole Ikorodu Division, while the process was being monitored by members of iCARE Team.
