Tuesday, 20st of November, 2018, will hardly be forgotten in the history of Igbogbo, when the Igbogbo Sports Stadium was full to capacity to celebrate the cultural day in continuation of this year's Igbogbo day celebration. The event kicked off with a stunning performance by the cultural groups from Schools in Igbogbo.
While addressing the crowd, Odofin of Igbogbo, High Chief Tajudeen Alade Onasanya, welcomed and appreciated everyone's presence and revealed the importance of the day which is to display the town's cultural heritage.
Some of the deities of the land and of course students from different primary and secondary schools in Igbogbo thrilled the audience with entertaining cultural display where Superior Private School came 1st followed by Goldline Private School and Lagos State Civil Service Model College, who came 2nd and 3rd respectively.
The programme was enriched with Royal blessings from the Monarch, HRM Oba Semiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, who expressed deep gratitude to students and teachers and congratulated the winners.
