WASIU OLOWU OF WARD C2 GIVES FREE MEDICAL SERVICES TO PEOPLE OF IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu.

Lawmaker, representing Ward C2 of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Wasiu Olowu has provided free medical services and items to over 200 people of his area. Olowu who is the majority leader of the legislative Arm of the Council stated this during the health initiatives at Adeboruwa Palace of Igbogbo.

The medical services were provided for people free of charge especially the indigents ones in the area. While addressing the audience, Hon Olowu said that medical services provided was part of welfare package he promised the people during his electioneering campaign.

Speaking during the outreach, Olowu said he was moved to embark on the exercise in order to help the poor people in his council area who might not be able to access quality health care.

Olowu said: “This exercise, tagged ARALE Free Medical Mission, is a way of empowering the people of my Ward, if my people are healthy, they will live productive and vital lives. My People needs to be strong and healthy, that is why I have embarked on this mission.

“You can see the magnitude of people here; I’m doing this out of the little I have because I believe so much in my people and they should not suffer in all aspects of life.”

“We have given drugs to those that have high Blood Pressure to suppress it. We did malaria test and distributed drugs to those having malaria and diabetes. Our Medical team has also advised them on what they eat and what they should not." Hon Olowu explained while speaking with MegaXpression Magazine.

He however, applauded the collaboration of Dr. Shola of Shola Hospital, for his passion towards heathy living. "An extra special word of welcome must go to the members of Olowu Wasiu Political Family (OWAPOF), my political leaders, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, Chief Dele Olowu and Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, my Ward Chairman and all Exco of Ward C2, Igbogbo Muslim Community, Christian Association of Nigeria, Ward C2 Branch, Joint CDA/CDC Zone 2, the Baales and Chiefs and all Oniseses in my Ward, members of Igbogbo Youth Coalition, My Council Chairman, Comr Olusesan Daini, and his Vice, Colleagues and guests, my wife and members of my families who have made an additional effort in and devoted their precious time to share today with us, I will like to appreciate the effort of my consultant Mr. Lekan Lucas who made this program a reality." He said.
