IKORODU MONARCH, LEGISLATORS, COUNCIL CHIEFS, LASTMA WORKERS, JOURNALISTS, OTHERS, COMMISERATE WITH FAMILIES, OVER ALHAJA LATEEFAT GIWA'S DEATH. | Shakiru Seidu.

Agbaakin of Ikorodu Kingdom, Otunba Ayodele Elesho, has condoled with the families of Giwa on behalf of His Royal Majesty, Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, Ayangberen of Ikorodu Kingdom, over the death of Alhaja Lateefat Giwa, who her death occurred on Thursday morning after observing pains in her chest.

Otunba Elesho, in a condolence message issued, said "Alhaja Lateefat Giwa was a dedicated, loyal and committed officer. She was a dutiful wife to her husband, amiable mother to her children, humble friend and above all, a pious Muslim."

Hon SOB Agunbiade, Majority Leader, LSHA, also expressed shock, noted, through the media head of Onward Movement, Otunba Dare Odufowokan, that the late Alhaja Lateefat Giwa, was a devoted Muslim who lived a life worthy of emulation.

“I commiserate with her husband and children and other family members on the death of Alhaja Giwa today. I extend my deepest sympathy and pray that the Almighty Allah grants her Al-jannah Fidau." He said. The wife of Hon Agunbiade, Alhaja Tairat Agunbiade also expressed deep sympathy and prayed that the Almighty Allah grants the late Alhaja Lateefat Giwa eternal rest.

Also expressing sadden over the death of Alhaja Giwa was the representative of Ikorodu federal Constituency at the House of Reps., Hon Babajimi Benson, who commiserated with the families Over the sudden death, said the woman had contributed immensely to the service of LASTMA.

While speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, Hon Benson extended condolences to Alhaja Giwa's professional colleagues and the immediate family of the deceased, who he said had contributed immensely to the society.

The Chairmen of Ikorodu North and Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDAs, Hon Adeola Adebisi Banjo and Comr Sesan Daini, who paid condolence visits to commiserate with the families, described the death of Alhaja Lateefat Giwa as an unfortunate incident.

According to Hon Banjo, "the six Council Chairmen are deeply saddened by the untimely passage of Alhaja Lateefat Giwa, because she was not only a promising young woman, but had what it takes to contribute to the overall wellbeing of her family in particular and Lagos State at large."

"It is highly unfortunate that we lost her so early, and we are still pained by her demise, Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Sesan Daini lamented.

The Publisher of MegaXpression Magazine, Mr Shakiru Seidu has also expressed shock over the sudden death of Alhaja Giwa, describing the development as extremely sad and disheartening.

Seidu believes that Alhaja Lateefat Giwa left at a time that her services were most desired by the State, describing him as a “gentle and uncontroversial officer”.

Alhaja Lateefat Giwa, before her death was a Senior Officer at LASTMA, very hardworking, philanthropist and friendly, who has served Allah diligently before her departure. Thursday, 8th of November, by 10am, is the 8days fidau prayer. May her gentle rest in perfect peace.

  1. Hhmm, I was shock to receive the news of the death of Alhaja lateefat giwa , I met her during our M PA program at lasu . She was just a caring woman, love by all her classmates.She fondly call me baby of the class, Anytime we are less busy, she take us out & entertain us , later I met her at ikorodu , still calm & lovely . we love you but God love you more than us ...
