IGBOGBO STANDS STILL, AS THE 30TH EDITION OF IGBOGBO DAY KICKS OFF WITH STREETS CARNIVAL. | Shakiru Seidu.

The major roads in Igbogbo were put on hold and the economic activities were grounded, as all sons and daughters, artisans, traders, transport operators and others, trooped out in large number to participate in this year's streets carnival, in celebration of the 30th Igbogbo Day Anniversary.

The carnival was filled with different colours, attires by different groups and associations, while clubs were not left out. The occasion was more of a competition as people rallied round the community to celebrate this year's Igbogbo Day.

His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiu Orimadegun Kasali,  Adeboruwa of Igbogbo and his Chiefs received all participants at Adeboruwa Palace,  where winners were determined based on merit through the judgement of unbiased panelist.

MegaXpression Magazine reports that Itun-Abosan ward, Agbele road and Tailors Associations took 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively.

SENATOR OGUNLEWE DENIES ENDORSING GBOLAHAN OGUNLEYE FOR SECOND TERM.

Former Minister and GAC member, Senator Adeseye Ogunlewe , has denied reports claiming he endorsed Hon.
