Thursday, December 20, 2018, the Factor Media of Comrade Japheth Odesanya, in its usual style of hosting the important personalities in Ikorodu, at his Corridor, came to live again when he hosted an erudite legislator from Ikorodu federal Constituency, Hon Babajimi Benson, MHR, in a special Parliamentary evening.

While addressing the audience, JB, as he fondly called, expressed joy and enthusiasm over the unflinching supports bestowed upon him by the people of Ikorodu federal Constituency since he assumed office three and half years ago. He assured to remain focused and consistent over the growth and development of Ikorodu Division.

Benson, who have succeeded in passing many Bills and Motions at the House of Reps., said he's not in rivalry with anybody in Ikorodu. "I am in Ikorodu to serve and my aim is to put smiles on the faces of my Constituents," he said.

"The development of Ikorodu Division is sacrosanct. I have gotten license and approval to start a Community Radio Station, which will soon be transmitted on 89.3fm. In the last three and half years, I have succeeded in building 9 Schools, providing many water projects, Transformers, grading of roads, women and youth empowerments, monthly food distributions to the vulnerable, amongst others," JB added.

He therefore enjoined all to come out emmas and vote for APC candidates, starting from President Muhammadu Buhari and Prof. Yemi Osibajo, as President and Vice, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu and Dr Femi Hamzat, as Governor and Deputy, Hon Bayo Osinowo as Senator of East Senatorial, himself, Hon Babajimi Benson, as member House of Reps., Hon SOB Agunbiade and Hon Nurudeen Sholaja as Members, Lagos State House of Assembly, Ikorodu Constituency 1 and 2 respectively.

Speaking earlier at the event, the Publisher of Oriwu Sun, Alhaji Monzor Olowosago, applauded the uncommon performance of Hon Babajimi Benson, saying his record in the last three and half years as a legislator is yet to be overtaken. He therefore enjoined Ikorodu youth to emulate such good gestures and not to allow their future to be mortgaged.

Chief Regun of Ikorodu, Hon Sunmi Odesanya, Baale of Ojogbe, Chairman Sesan Daini of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Chairman Adebisi Banjo of Ikorodu North LCDA and Prince Toyin Gafaar Bolowotan, were all purged out their minds on the humility and integrity of Hon Babajimi Benson. They said it's worth of emulating and imbibed all to protect the good names living by their parents, saying JB has done well with his father's name.

Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
