His Royal Majesty, Oba AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo, on Tuesday, 11th of December, 2018, asked the youth of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA to desist from any acts of criminality. He made this known when he visited Bayeku town on the killings of some suspected cult members.
The monarch expressed displeasure over the level of cult activities in the community. He appealed to the parents to devote adequate attention on their children, inculcate positive moral into them and orientate them why they should desist from any form of criminality and cultism. Oba Kasali further implored the people not to hesitate to report any suspected movement of a person or group to the appropriate quarters.
The monarch also frowned at the Beer Parlours, Hoteliers, for closing lately, urged them to be vigilant and said they would be seriously dealt with, if they harbour any criminal.
While speaking on phone with the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comr Olusesan Daini, he appealed to residents of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, to remain calm, saying that the government is not leaving any stone on turned to return peace. Daini solicited for the cooperation of the local Security operatives with the Police and entrenching peace and tranquility among all, so as to secure the lives and properties of the citizenry.
He also pleaded with everybody not to relent in praying for the peace and progress of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA.
