IGBOGBO DAY 2019: PROMINENT SONS, DAUGHTERS OF IGBOGBO DINE, WINE WITH ADEBORUWA, SOLICIT FUND FOR BEFITTING IGBOGBO TOWN HALL. Together, we'll make great things happen, Council Boss, Olusesan Daini reveals.

An intimate fund raising dinner was held at the 'Homat Megalite Hall, Igbogbo, on friday, November 8, 2019, for the construction of Ultra Modern Town Hall for Igbogbo Community. Technocrats, Politicians, Business moguls, others came out with joy to grace the beginning of the 31st Igbogbo Day celebration and to contribute to the Town Hall project, as they were all sizzled in colourful embellished dresses.

The President, Igbogbo Development Association, IDEA, in his eloquent welcome address thanked all for honouring the special invitation and urged all to support and contribute towards the actualisation of the befitting Town Hall for Igbogbo Community. "Igbogbo should not be left out in the scheme of development," he said. 

The Chairman of the fund raising dinner, Hon Babatunde Rotinwa, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, former SSG Lagos State, Hon Nurudeen Saka-Sholaja, member House of Assembly, former acting commissioner, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, former H.O.S Lagos State, Aremo Adesegun Ogunlewe, Alhaji Olawale Amusa, owner of Homat Group of Schools, and the Chairman Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, Comrade Olusesan Daini, were in the same vein charged all sons, daughters and residents of Igbogbo Community to contribute generously towards the making of Igbogbo Town Hall a reality.

In addition, Aremo Ogunlewe enjoined the Ikorodu Division Resource Group to take the Town Hall project of Igbogbo as priority in their plans. Also, Chief Basorun stated "let your name be written in the book of life of Igbogbo. 

In his Royal remarks, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr) AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, applauded the contribution of all, saying the development of Igbogbo is a collective responsibility. 

Other guests spotted at the fund raising dinner are the former Deputy Governor, Prince Abiodun Ogunleye, traditional Chiefs, led by Chief Jelili Oduntan, Balogun of Igbogbo, Hon Gbenga Oshin, Mr Shakiru Odusanya, Mr and Mrs Ayeni, Barr Deboye Dankuwo, Mr Titilola Adegboyega, Mr Shakiru Seidu, Mr Gbenga Faniyi, Chairman Igbogbo Day Planning Committee and members of his team, amongst others.
