JIMI BENSON JOINS IKORODU MONARCH, OTHERS TO CELEBRATE IKORODU OGA DAY 2019, URGES ALL TO REJOICE PEACEFULLY.

The Chairman, House Committee on Defence and Member, House of Representatives, representing Ikorodu federal Constituency, Hon Babajimi Adekoge Benson, was on Thursday joined the Royal Head in Ikorodu Kingdom, HRM Oba Kabir Adewale Shotobi, market men and women and other distinguished sons and daughters of Ikorodu, at Ayangburen Palace, to rejoice and celebrate together, this year's Ikorodu Oga Day. The occasion which is having its grand finale on Saturday, had different groups and Associations in attendance, rejoicing and making presentation of gifts to the Monarch.

"This year's Oga Day is awesome, I didn't anticipate this!" JB, as he's fondly called, gladly remarked when he was briefly questioned by MegaXpression correspondent. He applauded His Royal Majesty, Oba Shotobi and Otunba Ganiyu Olusegun Abiru's led IKODASS for their uncommon ideology and opening up of Ikorodu Community for social and economical value. While urging the youth and residents of Ikorodu to be peaceful and law abiding throughout and after the celebration. He later moved round Ikorodu town hall to rejoice with some of his constituents.

Amongst those that equally followed JB to celebrate with HRM Oba Shotobi are the DG Lagos State Sports Commission, Prince Shakirudeen Toyin Gafaar, a.k.a Bolowotan, Senior legislative Aide to Hon Babajimi Benson, Mr Bayo Oteju, and other members of iCARE Foundation, Mr Shakiru Seidu, Alhaji Musbaudeen Alejo, Alhaji Moruf Jokomba and Princess Bisoye Oredoyin.
