100 YOUTHS BENEFIT FROM NDE’s ENTREPRENEURSHIP TRAINING IN LAGOS. Build on confidence motivated by the training you acquired, the facilitator, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa charges the participants.
The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Lagos has graduated no fewer than 100 from its 2020 entrepreneurship training scheme held in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Dr. Nasiru Argungu, Director-General of NDE, disclosed this in Ikorodu on Thursday at the council secretariat where certificates were presented to the 100 participants, MegaXpression News reports.
Augungu, represented by Mrs Serena Olayemi Edward, Lagos Coordinator of NDE, said the 100 participants were trained on entrepreneurship skills.
She congratulated the entrepreneurs for their sense of responsibility, independence, self-realisation and capability for self-actualisation and fulfilment.
Mrs Edward further appreciated the facilitator, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Staffs of NDE, Staffs of NIDCOM and participants for the successful completion of the NDE Nirsal training.
In her eloquent remarks, the facilitator and Chairman, Nigeria Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, congratulated the participants before issued certificates for the completion of entrepreneurship training.
The former House of Reps member, said the face two of this entrepreneurship training is coming soon. "I hope you will make use of this opportunity and put it in your business plan and when you have challenges, let us know," Dabiri- Erewa said while speaking with MegaXpression Community News.
She further urged the participants to build on the confidence of a brighter tomorrow, motivated by empowerment in the training they had received.
“I commend the trainers, who had assisted in imparting knowledge, skills, the right motivation and job competencies to our trainees.
“I am very proud of working in partnership with NDE to accomplish our national aspirations of improving the employability of our youths and closing the skills gap through targeted skills-to-job training,” she stated.
One of the participants, Adeyemi Oshodi, expressed happiness with the training, thanked Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa, pledging to support the NDE programme for job creation and empowerment.
