IGBOGBO MONARCH INSPECTS IGBOGBO- BOLA AHMED TINUBU- IGBE ROAD, FROWNS AT SLOW PACE OF ON-GOING PROJECT. ...Urges HI-TECH to expedite action for socio-economic development of the area.

The Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Barr.) AbdulSemiu Orimadegun Kasali, has decried the slow pace of work on Igbogbo- Bola Ahmed Tinubu- Igbe road project, stressing that the road was strategic to the socio-economic development of Lagos State.

Oba Kasali made this known during the inspection visit to the construction of on-going road project site. While speaking with MegaXpression News, the Monarch urged the HI-TECH Contractor handling the road project to expedite action and do the needful in accordance with the terms and conditions attached to the award of the contract.

The King added that no well-meaning Government will be willing to disengage a performing and capable contractor. He advised Contractor to wake up from their slumber and fast track work on the on-going road project, adding that HI-TECH has yet to advanced 20 percent of the work done so far.

In the same vein, the King applauded Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, for his developmental agenda, appealing to him to equally do something urgently on Igbogbo/Bayeku and Oreta/Offin roads, as the two roads are almost impassable for commuters.
