"This sense of protection by mothers must have motivated my dear sister, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, to donate thousands of face shields and other materials to our campaign because she believes in the ideals we want to introduce to the Senate.

"It should be restated that COVID-19 is still with us and we must ensure we wear our masks and keep social distance where necessary as we ease back into our day-to-day transactions. We cannot afford to compromise on our health even for this campaign," Abiru said.

The APC East Senatorial flagbearer further thanked and appreciated the former House of Reps member, Hon Abike Dabiri-Erewa for her hands of support.
