APC PRIMARIES: BABAJIMI BENSON ATTENDS APC CAUCUS MEETING OF IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA, ASSURES OF MORE QUALITY REPRESENTATION AT THE FEDERAL HOUSE OF REPS. | Shakiru Seidu.

As the All Progressives Congress, APC, Primaries approaches, aspirants have been intensifying efforts to woo the interest of the Party followers.

Here in Ikorodu, Hon Babajimi Benson, Member, federal House of Reps., representing Ikorodu Division, is not leaving any stone unturned as he's busy having meetings with the Party leaders and political groups in Ikorodu Division.

On Wednesday, September 26, 2018, the erudite legislator and his iCARE Team, visited the Justice Forum Group of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, under the leadership of Hon Adebimpe Akinsola, to thank and solicit for their support in the coming Party Primaries.

Without much ado, JB, as he fondly called, thanked the members of Justice Forum for the unflinching support bestowed upon him. He appreciated Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola and the leadership of her house for the warmly support given to him. He therefore identified with the group and appealed for their continuous support. Benson, however revealed his readiness to continue his good work at the federal House of Reps, Abuja, in 2019.

The meeting that has the presence of hundreds of Party members, saw Babajimi Benson, imploring his followers to remain focused and not to take serious, those that are busy insulting his personality, which is being peddled by some bad elements to discredit him so as to earn themselves cheap popularity in Ikorodu Division. He further condemned politics of bitterness and hatred in Ikorodu Division and vowed never to play any do or die politics. He enjoined and appealed to all APC members to be friendly and imbibe the spirit of oneness.

Despite being the only aspirant that got the APC form for the House of Reps. position in Ikorodu Division, JB still charged all the party faithfuls to come out enmas during the Primaries and ratify his candidacy. He also enjoined all to abide by the Party directives in the coming Primaries.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
