APC PRIMARIES: HON SHOLAJA-SAKA LOBBIES PARTY MEMBERS, VISITS APC CAUCUS IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. | Shakiru Seidu.

Hon. Nurudeen Sholaja-Saka, member, Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Ikorodu Constituency II, on Monday, September 10, 2018, visited the CWC, Justice Forum of Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, at the compound of one of the respected leaders in Ikorodu Division and former Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola. The CWC meeting which is aimed at disseminating information to the grassroots holds every Mondays at the said venue.

The Olu-Omo of Imota made used of the visitation to address some of his constituents. In his remarks, he thanked all for the unflinching support bestowed upon him and saluted the loyalty of members for sacrificing their time for political meetings. He further reaffirmed that Governor Ambode, in collaboration with the Lagos State House of Assembly are working assiduously to make life better for the people of Lagos State.

It was on this note that the erudite legislator, Hon Sholaja, lobbied for support for his second term bid and assured to put more effort on quality representation.

The Chairman of the meeting, Mr Hakeem Solawon, appladed the coming of Hon Sholaja, advised him to keep up the good work and to remain focus towards the delivery of his legislative duties. He also implored him not to wait till election period before visiting the meeting again.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
