Less than one weeks to the APC primaries election, aspirants are not leaving any stone unturned to woo the leaders and the Party faithfuls.

Today, in Igbogbo, Mr Jide Sanwo-Olu, a 53years old man and one of the aspirants vying for the governorship position on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), visited one of the Governor's Advisory Committee, GAC, members, Asiwaju Olorunfunmi Basorun, to solicit for support in the coming APC Primaries. The meeting which lasted for 43minutes was held behind closed doors.

Sanwo-Olu, who is the Managing Director of Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC), is challenging the incumbent Governor at the Party’s Primaries, scheduled for Saturday, 29th of September.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
