BATTLE FOR WEST SENATORIAL: OPEIFA GETS ENDORSEMENT FROM PARTY LEADERS, GROUPS, AHEAD OF APC PRIMARIES. Shakiru Seidu.

Ahead of the All Progressives Congress, APC, primaries election, the aspiration of the former Commissioner for Transport, Lagos State, Mr Kayode Opeifa, today received a boost when stakeholders from the senatorial district endorsed him for the position of Senate from Lagos West.

Speaking to MegaXpression Magazine and other journalists after the event, Opeifa described his past as eventful and full of challenges. He however noted that his experience was worth it to be a good representative of the people.

He attributed his endorsements to the grace of God and the confidence of the people in his quality of service delivery.

Leaders in attendance include, Alhaji Jide Oni, LG Chairman, former House of Reps member, Mr Akeem Muniru among others.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
