COVID-19: SAVEFIRST ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICE DISINFECTS IKORODU GENERAL HOSPITAL, SETS TO FUMIGATE OTHER HIGH DENSITY SETTLEMENTS IN IKORODU DIVISION. It's aimed to support the State Government, Director of Operations, Mr Kazeem Showemimo reveals.

An accredited fumigation outfit with Lagos State Government license, Savefirst Environmental Service, has disinfected the General Hospital Ikorodu with chlorine solution as part of their efforts to curb the spread of Coronavirus in Ikorodu Division. This recorded the approval of the Medical Director of Ikorodu General Hospital, Dr. (Mrs) O. Bankole.

Speaking with MegaXpression Community News during the disinfection exercise, the Director of Operations, Savefirst Environmental Service, Mr Kazeem Ogidan Showemimo, stated that based on the suspected COVID-19 case at General Hospital Ikorodu, his Organisation has found it necessary to take all possible preventive measures to ensure that the spread of Coronavirus is curtailed in the General Hospital and other high density settlements in Ikorodu Division.

He mentioned that their next focus is to fumigate the worship places, schools, traditional Palaces, hotels, Bus Stops, Event places, amongst other density settlements, noting that they're battled ready to end COVID-19 in Ikorodu. "I call on the residents of Ikorodu Division to observe strict adherence to health experts’ advice on curtailing the spread of Covid-19," he said.

Showemimo further applauded Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on his several measures taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in Lagos State. He also enjoined all well- meaning citizens, cooperate organisations and individuals to join in the fight against the spread of Coronavirus.
