LAGOS LOCKDOWN: BLDR. DAINI OLUSESAN DISTRIBUTES STIMULUS PACKAGE TO VULNERABLE, SENIOR CITIZENS IN IGBOGBO/BAYEKU LCDA. ...Applauds the uncommon gesture of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on COVID-19.

Bldr. Olusesan Mayokun Daini, the Chairman, Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA, has distributed over 1,000 relief materials to vulnerable and Senior Citizens in his LCDA, to cushion the effect of the lockdown occassioned by the Coronavirus pandemic.

Daini, speaking to newsmen on Wednesday after the distribution, noted that the lockdown was in the best interest of the citizens, saying it was the best way to avoid the spread of the COVID-19. 

The Chairman said the relief materials were distributed through the Community Development Council (CDC), religious  groups and some selected indigenes in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA. 

He added that other relevant groups also benefited from the gesture, noting that he had equally taken care of the aged and the vulnerable ones in the distribution of the relief items. 

Daini, however appealed to well to do people in Igbogbo/Bayeku LCDA to help the needy, saying that government or political office holders can not do it alone. He appreciated the uncommon gesture of Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu so far in ensuring that the stimulus package put in place reached the people it meant for across the State.
