BABAJIMI BENSON PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO NIGERIAN ARMY AT ISHAWO, IKORODU. | Shakiru Seidu. It is an eye opener to the tactical and strategic planning of the Operation in Ikorodu Division. -Lt. Col. BC Eze.

The Operation Crocodile Smile Base, situated at Ishawo community, Ikorodu was on Friday, 27th of October received the presence of an erudite Legislator, who represents Ikorodu federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Hon. Babajimi Benson, in a courtesy visit.

The visit which was aimed at appreciating the wonderful contributions of the Operation Crocodile Smile at Ishawo, towards their determination in cubbing security threats in Ikorodu division.

The Commander, 174 Battalion, Odogunyan, Lt. Col B.C. Ezeh received the Legislator under a colourful atmosphere and took him and his entourage round the Operation tactical Room, later gave brief explanation of their success so far.

According to the report gathered by MegaXpression Magazine, the visit was said to be an eye opener to the tactical and strategic planning of the Operation which has come to save Ikorodu Division from the activities of criminal elements.

In his address, the Army Commandant in charge of the Operation in Ishawo gave good account of their achievements and challenges. Ikorodu has been neglected and its potential not fully annexed due to the activities of criminal elements within the Division. This neglect has led to people turning to crime for survival, he explained.

He praised the efforts of both the State and Federal Government for addressing the issue. He further applauded Hon Babajimi Benson for the support being given overtime to the Nigerian Army.

Hon. Babajimi Benson, MHR, in his eloquent response, expressed gratitude for the good job by the Operation Crocodile Smile in Ikorodu division. He however assured of continuous support to the team and Nigerian Army whenever they needed.
