It is proverbially said that, any child who discards Culture has hung a bag of affliction for himself.

It is going to be a memorable day in the history of Ikorodu division, when the Royal Heads, Regents and the traditional Chiefs, the Majority Leader, at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. SOB Agunbiade, the Special Adviser and Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola, IREP Team and the entire indigenes of Ikorodu division will celebrate ASA Carnival in grand style.

ASA was said to be a beautiful socio-cultural heritage of decades which usually harmonize the people of Ikorodu Division in the good old days.

The gradual extinction of this 'ASA' has been salvaged by the dynamic Hon. Sanai Agunbiade in a bid to restore the emblem that unites the people of Ikorodu Division together.

The Carnival is packaged to unveil ASA Statue at Ogolonto (9am), and Book Launch on "ASA" (Plus Carnival proper) by 10am at the Ferry Jetty Terminal , Ipakodo, Ikorodu, on Saturday, 4th of October, 2017.

Let's keep the date and showcase our cultural value to the world, Hon Akinsola urged the people of Ikorodu division when speaking with MegaXpression magazine.
