APC SHUT DOWN EPE, AS THE PARTY HOLDS ITS LAGOS EAST SENATORIAL GENERAL ASSEMBLY. | Shakiru Seidu. Party Leaders, National and State Assemblies, Commissioners, Council Chairmen, A+ Disciples, iCARE Team, others, graced the occasion. We must embrace unity and assist Gov. Ambode to deliver more dividend of democracy, Alhaji Bamu urged the Party faithfuls.

Thursday, 26th of October, 2017, the Epe township witnessed a large turnout of APC members from Lagos East Senatorial District. The Leadership of the Party across the District gathered to synergize and promote the interest of the Party through its General Assembly.

The occasion began with the opening prayer by the Special Adviser and Acting Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Lagos State, Hon. Adebimpe Akinsola and followed by the introduction of the Party Leaders, National and State Assemblies present, not neglecting the Commissioners, Council Chairmen among others. All the LGs and LCDAs from East Senatorial district were all in attendance.

Alhaji Seriki, (Bamu Elepo), Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, Hon. Bayo Oshinowo and others that addressed the gathering enjoined all APC members to imbibe spirit of oneness and and support Gov. Ambode's second term bid.

When speaking with MegaXpression Magazine, Hon Adebimpe Akinsola acquainted the Party faithfuls to accelerate their campaign and aggressive mobilisation for Gov. Ambode in 2019. She further enjoined those that has interest in governorship to wait till 2023.

Nevertheless, Hon. Babajimi Benson, MHR, Hon Tunde Braimoh, Hon Segun Olulade, Hon. Nurudeen Sholaja, Otunba Dr. Fatai Olukoga, also shared same reasoning in working together towards the sustainability of good government.

Mr Shakiru Sanni was on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, removed from his position as the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo Kingdom, after his alleged gross misconduct and disrespect to the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Semiudeen Orimadegun Kasali and traditional institution of Igbogboland. Mr Shakiru Sanni of Amoju branch, Lantan Onanusi Family in Igbogbo, was made the Olumale Eluku of Igbogbo few years back, and accused of insubordination, abused of tittle and total disrespect to the King, traditional institution of the land and Lantan Onanusi Family.
